Monthly Team Tournament

The 2023 Fishing TEXAS Team Tournament Trail will be kicking off in January and wrapping up in October this upcoming year. We will also be having 2 OPEN Tournaments that will not count towards the Fishing TEXAS Championship AOY Points or Qualifying for Championship. Below is all the information and schedule for the 2023 Fishing TEXAS Tournament Trail. A lot of exciting changes and a great line up of lakes for the upcoming season. Please begin networking and securing Sponsors so we can get our Banner made in time for our first Tournament. 1. All Tournament Rules will Apply. 2. All State and Local Laws Apply. This means Life Jackets and Kill Switches must be on and hooked up to the Driver when above an idle. 3. All fish weighed in a Fishing TEXAS Tournament must be a Minimum 14”. 4. You must fish with the same partner in 6 of the 9 Tournaments throughout the Season for a Team to Qualify for the October Championship with the EXCEPTION of ONE permitted Alternate/Substitution and/or Buyout 5. Each 2 Person Team will pay a $50.00 (Yearly Membership Fee). Each paid Membership Team will receive a number for the entire year. Yearly Membership Fee’s will be due in February and/or the FIRST Tournament participating in afterwards. This will be your teams number ALL YEAR. These Fee’s will go towards AOY, Awards, Plaques and/or other Fishing TEXAS Tournament Prizes and/or Expenses. 6. Tournament Payouts: Pays 1 Place for every 7 Entries. $60.00 Entry - $40 Towards Places, $10 for Big Bass, $10 Towards the Championship RULE CHANGES 2023: 7. AOY Points - There will be a total of 9 Tournaments. All Teams Top 7 Tournaments will be calculated for AOY Points and Standings. Whether Teams fish all 9 or only 7. There will be a separate Payouts for AOY and Championship 8. ONE Alternate (Sub) will be permitted to Fish ONE Tournament - No Paid Membership is Required 9. Teams will be allowed 1 Buyout for the Tournament Season. If Buyout paid, Last Place Points for AOY will be Awarded for that Tournament
