How Does Weighfish Work?
Weighfish is an online fishing tournament manager. Working with Weighfish tournament results is simple. You have full control of the information displayed and your results. Create all the tournaments you are planning for the season and add the results afterward or create them as your season progresses. You can use the website dashboard or the mobile apps. Read more about how the mobile app can give you the ability to display your tournament leaderboard in real-time online.
Here are some instructional videos on how to use the Weighfish dashboard interface and Weighfish TD Apps.
Create a Tournament Series
A Tournament Series is a group of tournaments together. If you are just doing one tournament, that’s okay too. Give your Series a title, description, location, and upload any images or sponsor logos. You can always edit or update this at any time to let your fishermen know the latest information for the Series.
Create a Fishing Tournament
From your Dashboard, you can create a Tournament in the Series you just created. You can create team tournaments, individual tournaments, or boater/co-angler tournaments. Tournaments can be single or multiple days long. Here you will enter Tournament details such as the body of water, date, weight format, and ramp address information that will be shown on the Tournament page. Same as with the Series, you can update or edit this information anytime you want to when something changes.
Add All of the Weigh-in Entries
Your Tournament is now created so adding the individual competitor entries after the weigh-in is concluded is next. Similar to how you might have previously done this in a spreadsheet or on paper, add each entry and all their weight information. Angler names, number of fish weighed for each day, total net weight for each day, points earned, and winnings are all added at this step.
View the Completed Tournament Results
Once you have everything entered, you can see all the results on the individual page that was created for your Tournament. Various statistics can be seen below the results as well. Share the link to the Tournament page with the competitors or post it to Social Media for the best exposure.
The Weighfish TD App
Here is a look at the Weighfish TD mobile app. You can use the app alongside the website dashboard, they will keep in sync with your tournament results. The app makes easy work of your weigh-in, whether you have an iPhone, iPad, or Android device.
The Weighfish TD app can be used where there is cell service and where there is not. Tournament results entered while the App does not have access to cellular data or Wi-Fi will be uploaded after the App is opened when cell service is better.
